GRAPHIC DESIGN
Communication materials, both print and digital, were created using Adobe Indesign or Adobe Photoshop.

A logo I created for the "Brown Bag Lunch" event series hosted by the Human Rights, Equity and Inclusion office. Created on Photoshop. The luncheon session occurs multiple times throughout the term where attendees are invited to participate in a conversation with a guest speaker. Each session involves discussing a topic and so I went with the design of a paper lunch bag and a coffee cup to play with the idea of "unpacking" and a lunch session.

As a Technical Writer for the Arts Computing office (Jan 2018 - Dec 2018), I was asked to create an 8 x 8 poster board which would be displayed at the annual WatITis conference hosted by UWaterloo. I learned the basics of Adobe InDesign in three days to design and complete this poster board. It also includes a QR code that viewers can scan and easily access the OFAS lab website.

I created this endslate for my personal Youtube channel using my main cloud background, the illustrated version of myself that I commissioned an artist to create for me, and a list of my social media accounts that viewers can visit and connect with me. Endslate was created on Canva.

ANIMATED ILLUSTRATIONS
As a hobby of mine I started a YouTube channel at the end of my first year university. My intention was to document my experience as a university student trying to balance her school work, personal life, and her passion for video editing and storytelling. IIn 2021, I was inspired by TikTok users to use the Procreate app to make short animated illustrations as a way to personalize my YouTube channel and improve the overall content.
ILLUSTRATIONS

I made a mock-up illustration for a radio drama I created titled, "The Sirens' Call". The sirens call is an allude to manic episode that one has during depressive states, where the darkness of thoughts reel you in, and you feel like you're tredding water for a while until you're actually drowning in it. Illustration digitally hand drawn on the Procreate app. April 22 2021.

Along with the digital illustration, I included my friend's very touching poem dedicated to her dad.

I came across this idea on TikTok where an artist illustrates a family portrait that includes loved ones who passed away into a recent picture. For my best friend's birthday, I wanted to gift her a personal family portrait that includes her dad, along with her other immediate family members who couldn't make it to her graduation because of the pandemic.
